Jodi Dyer

Encore! Dance Studios is owned and directed by Jodi Schwenk Dyer. Jodi began her dance training at the age of four at Encore! Dance Studios, Inc. in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She then went on to teach and choreograph at Encore! while earning a degree in Marketing and a minor in Management Informations Systems at Oklahoma State University.

Jodi has competed and studied at Dance Caravan and Tremaine where she was awarded 1st tap line and 1st tap production three times. She was also a member of a nationally ranked dance team in high school as well as a member of the Oklahoma State University Pom Squad while in college.

Jodi brings a unique opportunity to Wichita, KS for dance enthusiasts. Jodi has dedicated many years and time to dance and her students and is excited to offer a fun and positive dance experience for children and adults.

Abby Barnett decided performing was her passion when she began dancing at just two years of age. She danced through much of college at Butler University in Indiana before turning to broadcast journalism. Six years ago Abby and her husband moved to Wichita where Abby took a job as a reporter at KAKE. After having her daughter, Abby decided to leave the
station, raise her little girl, and now return to her roots teaching what she loves -- dance!

Abby Biles has been studying dance for 18 years and competed nationally for 9 years. She is a graduate of Wichita State University where she was the captain of the WSU Dance Team for 2 years as well as their coach this past season. She traveled the nation as an instructor at National Dance Alliance Camps for 5 years. She is currently a 1st grade teacher in the Newton School District.

Vanessa Eberhart studied dance for 18 years at Judy’s School of Dance in Hutchinson. During that time, she performed in multiple local, regional and national events. Vanessa continued to study dance at Kansas University while pursuing her degree in Occupational Therapy. Dance has always been a part of her life, and Vanessa is now enjoying sharing the joy of dance with her two daughters through classes at Encore!. She is currently an Occupational Therapist in the Wichita Public School District.

Amy Pollard is originally from Prairie Village, Kansas, and has been dancing for 12 years. She is in her 4th year at Wichita State University studying Performing Arts Dance and business. She has performed in many shows, concerts, halftimes, and benefits. Amy was a
member of the WSU Dance Team and is currently a staff member for National Dance Alliance.
